Thanks to its first-class station, equivalent to that of an entity such as Namur, for example, Poix Saint-Hubert was at the centre of a network of tram lines serving the majority of the Province of Luxembourg. At its height, the village had up to five hotels, five brasseries, four restaurants and a holiday centre... it was full of life! However, with the change in the railways, the village gradually lost its tourism impact so that today it only has le Val de Poix as hotel and restaurant. This, in addition to its special history, is why today it still plays an essential role for local residents in terms of socialising, especially with our English brasserie La Grignote. |
We are now promoting this place which in the past attracted tourists from far away to enjoy the charms of the deepest Ardennes and which has been able to retain a great sense of nature, whilst remaining well-located in terms of accessibility: 6 km from the E411 motorway, 15 km from the N4 road and on the railway line running Amsterdam - Brussels - Arlon - Luxembourg. Always changing, we adapt to current demands and remain open to the opportunities which emerge in different eras. Visit our website regularly, or why don't you subscribe to our newsletter? This will help you to remain informed about forthcoming offers first. |
